baby's first blog

so, here's this blog. some of you will be excited about this. i am excited in the sense that it will make my life easier. but all that being said, i will work to update this every few days or so during my trip, so that you can get a play-by-play of my extended vacation.

also, it should give me good opportunity to alleviate boredom, justify my lugging of the laptop halfway across the world, and encourage me to do some daily reflecting/journaling, as i'm trying to get back into.

currently, i'm sitting on a very cushy couch in my brother's living room decently adjusted to west coast time, though i'm getting a little anxious about my 10/18 hour flight tomorrow night. should be a-w-e-s-o-m-e.
